The Labyrinth of Garzon
Right here in the chircales (Uruguayan bush land)
In the rural environments,
Today fills me with excitement.
I tell you on this occasion,
and my guitar shares,
In the same manner it is distributed,
Like a labyrinth in life,
One goes and returns immediately,
And this is how this art is found.
Labyrinth of Garzon
Next to nature
And as I look at this vegetation,
inspiration springs from me.
From the bottom of my heart
And I tell you, here we are going to improvise,
As we are in the footprint of life,
We get lost and in other parts we find ourselves.
Among herbs and wildflowers
that preserve this past
Among herd of cattle
And with many old stories
With the plows, the bars
Those oxen, the wagon
In that restless figure
From our Uruguayan past
And in payback to Maldonado
We achieve our goal
Now yes my comrade
Let's twin the trills
In the Fernandino solar
Together today at this payada
On this beautiful day
Yes, of course, yes payador
Thus putting the value
In these improvised verses
This is how Machado improvises
And Flores, the payador

En los ambientes rurales
Hoy me llena de ilusión
Se lo digo en la ocasión
Y mi guitarra comparte
Asi mismo se reparte
Como un laberinto en la vida
Uno va y vuelve enseguida
Y asi se encuentra este arte
Laberinto de garzon
Junto a la naturaleza
Y yo miro esa vegeza
Me brota la inspiración
Del fondo del corazón
Y le digo
Si aqui vamos a improvisar
Y si estamos en la huella de la vida
Nos perdemos y enseguida
En otra parte encontramos
Entre yuyos y carquejas
Que guardan este pasado
Entre tropa de ganado
Y cuantas historias viejas
Con los arados, las rejas
Esos bueyes, las carretas
En esa figura inquieta
De nuestro uruguay pasado
Y en pago de maldonado
Cumplimos con nuestra meta
Ahora si mi camarada
Vamos a hermanar los trinos
En el solar fernandino
Juntos hoy esta payada
En esta linda jornada
Si, claro si payador
Poniendo asi el valor
